Whyte proved a lot of people wrong in the ring, I always said it was a 50/50 fight and with better conditioning he could have finished the job in round 2. Who knows what he could have accomplished if he wasn't held back for 2 years serving that ban

But his unproffesional street thug mentality let him down. Calling Joshua out on the street fight in the gloves are off, then risking getting DQ after the first round. Then refusing to shake hands after the fight and not doing any post fight interview.

He would have gained far more respect and credibility if he conducted himself like an athlete, came out said the better man won and shook his hand. There is a fine line between ''keeping it real'' and being a no good hood rat bully boy thug.

Whyte proved himself to be the latter

When there was bad blood between haye and chisora, chisora gave haye the respect he deserved after he lost and as a result his fanbase still grew. He cut out the stupid antics like slapping vitali and spitting water at wlad.

He may not be the best but Chisora is a respected fighter and person now because he knows how to behave himself as a professional.

No one really mentioned his pathetic attempt at the end of the 1st to try cheap shot Joshua not once but twice, I mean I can accept in the heat of the moment a fighter throwing a shot half a second of so after the bell, but when a ref is between you and the round was over for a good 5 secs it was just pathetic, glad he got dropped

I really thought that Whyte would be DQ'd. There were about 25 men in the ring after that!
Must say Howard Foster did a good job in the beginning of the 2nd, by taking away the heat.
Whyte looks like a younger version of Chisora, who also disrespected his opponents in the past (spitting in their faces)

Whilst the 2nd one wasn't on the first Whyte shot was only in retaliation to the Joshua late shot.

Whyte says that Joshua is a low-life scumbag, why shake the hand of a piece of **** like that, Whyte destroys that bum on the cobbles.

The incident at the end of the first was 100% Joshua's fault. He has took liberties like that in the ring before, fair play to Whyte for not letting him away with it.

He did an interview with IFL after, so it wasn't a case of him throwing a strop. Also, as much as I now don't mind Chisora, you can't call Whyte a street thug but praise Chisora when he was done for beating his ex.

100%, I've seen AJ landing punches after the bell numerous times, maybe now he'll learn he can't do it.

I agree, if he had been hugging him after I would have been disappointed.

What's this fixation with cobbles/ outside? Whyte thinks he's the hardest man on earth, he's was like Bambi on ice FFS.

I liked it at the post match interview when his Dad was all "he's DEFO not on steroids, 100%" ha ha classic Mr Joshua, letting the cat out the bag!

Emotion took over, he was blinded by hatred which I believe to be his downfall in this bout

Yeah he can't call Joshua fake 800 times and then be all nicey after the fight. That would have made him look like the fake.

There's a difference between being friends and respecting a fighter in the ring.

50/50? He had a bit of success in the second and was then brutally ko'ed. Don't tall nonsense.
