    I always get drawn into Facebook debates, I can't seem to help it. But there's too many casuals. I've had guys say to me that Floyd was better than Ray Leonard, because he lost and Floyd hasn't. Just last week I was told that Mike Tyson never beat anyone and he was destroyed by an absolute can in Douglas.

    I never learn.

    Roy will be remembered as an example of hype, style over substance, over protective matchmaking so endemic that it prompted "roycotts" steroid use, etc

    I'm thinking of a boxer's career like a 8 course menu in a 5 star restaurant. Even if the main courses were outstanding, a terrible and failed desert will always leave a sour taste in your mouth. If you get sick remembering the desert, it will always tarnish your entire experience.

    Same with Jones Jr. When I remember his career, I have a hard time remembering the elegance of Jones vs. Toney from 20+ years ago. However, these brutal and sad images of this once-great-fighter falling face down to the canvas like a pile of rocks by the hands of mediocre fighters like Lebedev, Green or Maccarinelli will always be burned into my head.

    No, Ezzard Charles, Sugar Ray Robinson, and Jack Johnson all did the same thing. Most of the great boxers finish their careers on the losing end of things. As time goes by we remember the good and forgive the bad.

    Jones is a Glass Jawed fighter. He never had a Chin and it explains why he avoided so many fights the fans wanted to see
