Pac v Money was no better than the stinker served up by Skeete v Gavin.

Absolute dog turd of a fight.

Fook me you must have had an orgasm watching the boring Klit v Furry fight which was another stinker

People need to realise the PPV situation has changed from what it was 5-10 years ago. Matchroom have raised the profile of British boxing, like it or not, and they and particularly Sky are going to milk it.

You can bet your bottom dollar Haye will end up on Box Office too.

I do not think you get boxing. When fights are that big, it is the occasion that matters; that the fight is boring is irrelevant; if it is brilliant it adds to the occasion.

The excitement of a fight in boxing is an intangible; as a fan you are buying the occasion not the fight.

    You are talking t urd

Recently went to the Klit v Furry fight in Dusseldorf and the atmosphere was killed stone dead after round 1.

The excitement was quickly drained out of people and the will to live long before the end.

People are paying to be entertained not watching a pile of shyte

Sadly though Boxing is outside of maybe Formula One and Horse Racing, the most capitalist sport in the world.

It is about money, and if 100,000 people want to buy tickets for a 20,000 arena, it can be assumed those not getting tickets would seriously consider paying £17 for a PPV purchase.

Add that figure to a core who will always purchase and those who want to watch on TV only and you start to make a lot of money if you are SKY and Matchroom. So why give it away for 'nothing' on SKY Sports?

Other than since the fight was so poor HBO have had a serious backlash over PPV and struggled with PPV fights since then as the "fight of the century" was such a damp squib

Ask any fan who has been watching Joshua at 02 recently whether it's a brilliant occasion or not

I've been and it is a fabulous atmosphere in there and people leave with a smile on their face. Everybody talking about what they've just seen. Same as everybody was talking about the fight this morning as well.

Was anybody smiling after the "fight of the century"

Be honest - everyone bitterly disappointed and only talk afterwards was very negative

    Huge letdown

With Joshua you are guaranteed excitement

Hence the popularity which will just build now until he gets beaten

The model is even more established in the USA. If for instance Lil Floyd does come back in May; it will be huge and if it is a Pacman rematch, I say now it will be even bigger than the original.

It will be sold as the first fight was a hard luck story on Manny, and now a chance for redemption and for Mayweather it is simple... 50 and 0.

You are saying Ali/FrazierI was a let down? ;)

I do not understand what else was expected for Floyd/Manny; it was never going to be a thriller, it was about occasion.

Mayweather final fight was a disaster for Mayweather on PPV

FLOYD MAYWEATHER recorded some of the lowest PPV numbers of his career in his showdown with Andre Berto. Reports suggest they could be as low as 400,000 and only as high as 550,000 in America. That is some way below the 4.4million that bought the Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao show in May.

No amount of hype can make up for not delivering entertainment

Of course it can. Hype sells; it is why Floyd is a multi millionaire and Lucas Matthysse is not...

Any Joshua fight now with a decent undercard.
Sky will pick up fury v klit 2
    Brook v Khan.

Sky have told Eddie they need 4 ppv a year.

To win in capitalism you need all the money commodity. And as one of his is nicknames is money, I am guessing he wants the lot!
