i just rewatched the boxing from saturday and at the time i watched it live i didn't really notice but david haye looked very weird. he looked pale, his eyes were bulging out the sockets, every time he talk he looked in shock and he couldn't stand still. i hope he is not going down the same road as ricky hatton, oscar dela hoya and joe calzaghe and using the old marching powder?? he looked like he had been on a bender for days. am i right or way off?
i just want to clarify that i am a david haye fan and not trying to look for things that are not there but my girlfriend was the one who pointed it out to me on saturday but i never noticed until yesterday. i hope i am wrong because i think if he is fit and healthy then eh can be a force at heavyweight post klitschko.
Not too sure about his complexion, but whenever he commentates on a big fight he is ALWAYS amped up for the occasion. :good Even Nelson is the same to a degree. Talks faster, brain is going 100mph etc.
I also thought i saw marks on his arms but on reflection it was bits of pizza that i had thrown at the tv during WK and Fury.
he was overly animated. ialways get the feeling hes trying too hard when he does public appearances. whether it's the short interviews on IFL where he tries to looks cool/hard by looking away from the camera and interviewer (at nothing) while a question is being asked or whether it's his overly animated way of answering questions, something just screams that this guy is "trying" to act a certain way. thats just the feeling i get off the bloke. I'd say if you get him one on one away from the cameras and have a pint with him he's a sound bloke and won't have the big man act on.
That's just the way he talks in front of the camera, hyped up on the occasion, one is more aware and think about what we say like in an interview for a job than we would speak to our friends. I met him at his vauxhall gym and of course he is not like that.
