Exactly. People seem to think that Chisora is shot due to his losses. The Haye result was about levels and the Fury loss was due to styles and Chisora and his people, like the rest of us, not expecting Fury to fight the entire fight on the back foot and most of it as a southpaw. Fury fought similar to Vitali when Chisora had his best performance. The difference was that Fury fought southpaw and he didn't have 40 year old ruined knees. Chisora has always been the type of fighter who looks pedestrian, overweight and unmotivated against lesser opposition. Against better fighters he is usually more up for it, in better shape and has more of a go. Agasint AJ he would definitely give it his all. The fact that he was in good shape on the weekend is a good sign. Just got to keep him away from the cakes over Christmas.
Chisora might not be what he was. But I'm sure he is by no means shot. He got outboxed easily by fury. But then again so did vladimir. So that performance doesn't look to bad for chisora now
i dont think hes shot either. chisora is weighing his options right now. with sauerland hes in a good place. i know he can get to a title shot with them. Now hearn comes out and wants him for joshua fight. he would need to pay chisora properly to get that fight. do i think chisora beats joshua? no but he will be his hardest test to date cause chisora fights to the level of his opposition most of the time.
I would have been happy for AJ v Chisora on the Quigg v Frampton card as a quick defence with April 9 stepping up for the EBU belt
Waste of time fight. Chisora presents no threat, has no power, other than serving as a durable punchbag for a few rounds before his corner stops it. Nothing to learn for AJ, except an easy night.
chisora is no threat what so ever to AJ , he looked absolutely washed up against fury , if this fight happens it wont go 2 rounds , AJ will have him out of there in quick time .
Shows you how frightened Hearn was during that second round that his man needs 4 months recuperation on that chin to fight.. Del Chisora.
