He was the joke of this forum a few short fights ago..he showed some brilliant ability tonight, but what an extremely tough man o Sullivan is to take all those shots.

I don't think he's that good. He was beat by BJS who is a fringe level fighter at best. Lee, GGG and Jacobs would all batter him. I think he'd struggle against others in the division like Quillin too.

Let's face it, Spike is ****. Beating him proves nothing.

I think he took punches he would normally avoid...he said he would do it. If he fought saunders again he would win. He beats jacobs and might have the chin to go 12 but no one beats ggg

He is a tremendous prospect. He has real star quality aswell, feels like a big deal when he fights.

Let's not forget that some were genuinely tipping spike to beat him.

Once he settled he absolutely brutalised him. Did some lovely work. Put some nice combinations together. Couple of good, winnable fights put there for him now as a good test to see if he can become genuinely elite.

World class? Strong but extremely crude style that once he's in with a genuine world level puncher I fell he will fe seriously exposed.

Nowhere remotely near the level him and his weirdo old man think they are.

I'm a fan of Jr and I was quite surprised how much support he got at the o2 last night

I'd much rather see a flawed brawl than 2 dull step perfect pugilists jab out a faultless yet coma enduring points decision - I say no guard, don't dodge the punches and just slug it out :)

Agree with this. Not sure anyone really expected Spike to win. Spike is a fun fighter but limited - he just stood in front of Eubank the whole night (which BJS wouldn't do, should they rematch).

To everyone saying BJS beat him etc etc ............

Do you believe if they fought again tomorrow that BJS would beat him again?

Eubank gave him a 6 round start almost and the fight was close, he wouldn't make that same mistake again.

I believe Eubank would stop BJ if they fought again.

A really ruthless performance by CEJ on Saturday, but let's face it, whilst being an obviously very tough guy, Spike isn't up to much. Walked right in to range without jabbing and let Eubank pop off combos without returning anything at all. He made it very, very easy for Junior.

If Lee wins this Saturday i'd like to see BJS v Eubank II next year. Styles make fights, and I'd pick BJS to win again.

A bit of a worry is the way he emptied all he had into his last 2 opponents, and neither was going anywhere....
If he is a non-puncher at 160, it doesnt bode well for him at 168...
