whats wrong with you? you act like golovkin and k2 can physically force canelo in the ring to fight.blame canelo and golden boy for ducking and wanting no part of golovkin not now and probably not never.

you don't know that that.what if the wbc decided to go back on their word and not strip canelo if k2 tried to force their hand.we all know how shady the wbc is.we all know canelo is going to demand a catchweight to try and gain an advantage over ggg that's just the reality of the situation. delaying up to a full year? they could end up fighting in september.Im sure k2 is going to try and get it in writing that canelo has to fight ggg next after his 1 voluntary fight. whether or not canelo and oscar agree to that is another story.

For one, Golovkin can fight Lara who's been calling him out for some time now.
Golovkin beats Lara and looks better than Canelo at doing so, then you might have a lot of casual fans enticed to pay to watch Canelo vs Golovkin.

Golovkin has got to step up to the plate against a better level fighter than what he's been fighting and better yet if its against a fighter that allready gave Canelo a hard time.

Guess what folks, I doubt team Golovkin is going to want to risk Golovkin getting beat by Lara who is a style matchup problem for most, and for a fraction of the money he would make for a fight with Canelo.

This is what I've been saying about Canelo having allready payed his dues. He's taken the stylistic matchup nightmare fight against really good boxers where as Golovkin has not.

Lara would be the perfect tough opponent for Golovkin to show his class against and demand a fight with Canelo.
Now we would be talking about real interest with both fight fans and casuals.

Why wont Golokin fight Lara who's been calling the G'ster out???:hey

    :yep

Yup. Just as I predicted. I was hoping that they could make it happen in September 2016. But that is not looking likely.

At the end of the day it shouldn't matter to us. These guys are getting paid. They don't pay our bills. Sure it sucks seeing a good fighter being avoided the way GGG is. But you know what? Thats on HIM. Not on the fans. He should have gone pro younger. Should have bounced out of Universum sooner. Now he is 33, staring at 34 very fast. He needs to make the move and needs to make it quickly. His problem at the end of the day.

Going to get on with my business.

    Peacee

How can nobody like Lara, with zero fan base, boring boxing make Golovkin more popular? Are you crazy?
Don't support decision, should have stripped that ducker and moved further.

This fight needs no marinating, it's already huge.
Like Hillary said, what difference does it make at this point? GGG will only get older a year from now, that's it.

What fanbase does Golovkin really have when his lone PPV date was a disappointment?

Lets see what Golovkin is made of against a fighter like Lara who makes every fight of his look dull.

Lots of fight fans want to see Golovkin step up to the plate against a fighter that's not going to stand in front of him and offer target practice.
