**** all the other modern heavies. No other modern heavy is even in his class except for Lewis. And **** that BS stoppage.

I wish Vitali was campaigning right now. He would absolutely wreck everybody. He had such great stamina and skill.

Nobody would stand a chance today against him.

It wasn't a BS stoppage. He could have sustained permanent damage to his eye. One of the worst cuts I ever saw.

However, he did fight well and Lewis definitely should have given him a rematch.

I love Vitali but the fact stands that he lost to the two best heavies he faced and his resume lacks a notable name.

Vitali is horribly overrated, who did he ever beat again? His brother has far eclipsed him.

Greatest h2h heavyweight of all time for me. Speed, power, light on his feet, size, stamina, iron chin. Never behind in any fight, never dropped or even wobbled, 87% ko's. Never ducked anybody and wbc champion emeritus twice. Also a clean fighter, that did not dirty box, rabbit punch, or cheat like that pos Lewis.

Yes, they would. Lewis, Wlad and Fury would school him.

His low guard, and lean back-style were ineffective against tall jabbers with long reach. And his face just like Wlad's were prone to cuts. Not a good combination of attributes against Wlad, Lewis or Fury...

He was easily outboxing Lewis. Fact is he showed he had a lot more skill than Lewis. Then the stopped the fight because of the cut.

No he wasn't. He was just throwing more punches because he was younger and fitter. Lewis had a slow start which allowed Vitali to get some good shots in early but he started losing control by round 3 and was on his last legs in round 6.
