Good progressive step up by Joshua.

An in shape Chisora is still a legitimate contender.

It's a smart bit of matching making from Hearn. Chisora has a recognisable name, is on a 4 fight winning streak, so is easily marketable. Also if AJ wins quickly people will compare it to Fury's wins over Chisora which can only add to the hype over AJ. Chisora is a proven quantity, he will come to fight and try and back up AJ from the opening bell but lacks the power to upset the favourite.

For Chisora it represents his best possible payday given his current position. He isn't a big draw, so nobody is queuing up to face him and so doesn't have many options and nothing else on the horizon that could pay as well. But if he wins he gives his career a kickstart and puts himself back in contention.

In 2016 I like AJ facing Chisora, Tony Thompson ,Arreola, Helenius and the likes to prepare him for world level. Come 2017 I will have no qualms putting him in with any heavyweight

How is Chisora a step up? He went all 10 rounds with Nascimiento winning on points looking awful while Whyte sparked out Nascimiento in round 2...

Chisora was badly out of shape for the Nascimiento fight and it's clear Chisora isn't a big hitter so I'd fully expect a big puncher like Whyte to stop a fighter faster than Chisora. For example Pac KO'd Hatton in 3 rounds while Mayweather took ten rounds to do the same, is Pac the superior fighter to Mayweather?

Chisora is far more proven than Whyte at a much higher level. If Chisora shows up in shape he'll definitely be a step up for Joshua. Joshua has never faced a fighter who has been competitive against top level fighters like Chisora.

Surprised how quicly Chisora is dismissed in this one.

If Joshua can land a big shot it could be over quite quickly. But thats the same for anyone he faces.

But Chisora comes forward, has good head movement and throws punches over the top which can be dangerous for taller fighters. He lacks power but still has enough to hurt people.

Youre thinking of chisora of a few years ago.

His headmovement is much slower nowadays and hes not a good pressure fighter of the vitali, helenuis fights.

We don't know, they never met in their primes. And yes, I think at this stage Whyte is a more dangerous opponent than Chisora. At least Whyte was motivated against Joshua, he came to win. Chisora would be there to collect a paycheck, his heart isn't in boxing anymore, Fury may have ruined him.

I agree that since losing the rematch against Fury, Chisora has looked jaded in regards to his boxing, he's not the same fighter and is going through the motions.

But I think Chisora knows this fight is his last chance and he could show up in decent shape. He didn't look too bad on the undercard last weekend considering he took the fight on short notice.

As for Whyte how dangerous is he really? Sure he hits harder than Chisora but he gassed after 3 rounds, that doesn't make him much of a threat to anyone that can take him beyond 4 rounds. Whyte has been beyond 4 rounds once and gassed badly and was then KO'ed. He deserves credit for giving AJ a scare but in reality he is still very unproven, unlike Chisora.

Whyte was never going to test AJ's stamina, if Chisora can avoid getting blitzed early he may very well test Joshua's conditioning. When fit he sets a good pace and applies plenty of pressure, he had Haye struggling with the pace prior to the KO. So while Chisora may not be a threat in terms of power he may test Joshua's stamina, something that Whyte was clearly incapable of doing.

It's pretty lame you have so many alts, and it's painfully obvious that they are your alts....you're not very creative.

One other thing Joshua looked vulnerable to vs WHyte was body shots, Whyte seriously troubled him a couple if times with those. Del is a pretty heavy body puncher, Del just needs to go downstairs and hit that big hgh gut for a tko.
