Why is Wilder low balling opponents with $250k paychecks for HW title fights?

We have heard that Dahaupas earned $250k, this is pretty much unheard of in HW title fights. Why are Team Wilder and Al Haymon allowed to scam fighters like that.

Back in the day people were moaning that Klitschko opponents "only" got paychecks of 600k-1m for a voluntary title shot. Where's the outrage now?

Wilder is pathetic. 3 short notice opponents in a row. First Molina literally plucked out of a fight with prospect Parker, featherfisted Duhaupas, and now Szpilka who admittedly is a massive step up from the last two fights but Wilders team lowballing all of these guys, and giving them on minimal time to prepare is pathetic. Only the guys who circle jerk to windmill would defend this kind of ****.

I clearly remember American boxing media and bloggers ripping into Klitschko over the purses of Rahman, Briggs and the $1.5 million Toney was offered. US bloggers blamed K2 "trying to rip off American HW contenders".

Now US media they're all quiet on their own man Wilder pulling a much worse scam. The bias is so blatant.

The larger Wilder's purse's are the more money Haymon make. I believe he gets 15-20% of every purse.

He won't be flying first class anyway. The heavyweight champion might be flying coach.

I want to work for you guys: pay me more than market value for my services.

If a guy is willing to fight for $250k, why would anyone pay them more? Silly.

Lol see. Leave it to the Wilder ****riders to defend this bull. Why do you think it takes so damn long to line these fights up? Nobody wants to fight for that kind of chump change in a world title fight, it's disgraceful. Yeah nothing wrong with facing short notice opponents for title defense, and paying them chump change while you are fully prepared. :huh:patsch

When he converts that to Euro and pays taxes and his camp he'll he enough to have a decent meal and maybe book his next fight at a Polish soccer game, which will ironically be more entertaining

Szpilka has been training since before the fight was announced. He was on notice that he was the guy if Glazkov fell through, which happened when Fury won.

Artur is a southpaw. You think Wilder's been secretly sparring southpaws for a couple of months expecting this?

    Hardy har har har.

I don't care what voluntary title challengers make. I've seen Haymon criticized for paying fighters too much and "artificially" raising the market ... Now he's a villian for not paying enough.

You have it the wrong way: If you only are willing up to pony up a measly $250k for a HW world title shot opponent, then only bums like Molina, Spzilpa and Dahaupas will turn up. Its pure sarcasm when Wilder complains people are "pricing themselves out of the fight.

Out of $250k, after promoters, taxes, fees, insurance, training camp, sparring partners and all travel costs these fighters can be happy to take home $60-80k. For a HW world title shot :rofl:rofl -- Only the most desperate of bums will accept these terms.

Yep I'm sure he has been on a full training camp, just in case because Wildmills team knew Fury would win and Glazkov would go IBF, yep I can see that now.. They were just mucking around with all that talk about about Shannon Briggs et al..

No Glazkov isn't south paw is he and only just pulled out?? Yet Wildmills has been secretly sparring southpaws for months?? While thought he was fighting a orthodox opponent??

Bloody hell he got lucky didn't he..

Ok guys stop spinning **** about Wildmills we just get the truth..
