    It seems like Whyte is not bull****ting, he was indeed in hospital after the fight and had surgery on the shoulder. Whyte injured his shoulder when throwing wild punches after tagging Joshua in the second round. :!: Moral of the story, he needs to learn better punching technique.

    The Brixton man claims his "shoulder went" in the act of delivering that punch, so much so his corner suggested pulling him out at the end of the round. Whyte told Sky Sports News HQ: "I had him out on his feet, he was stumbling around. I hit him and he stiffened up, but at the same time I hit him my shoulder went so I couldn't really finish him off."

    His excuse seems dubious. If he really hurt his shoulder with the punch that hurt Joshua, how did he go on to throw a barrage at him in an attempt to finish him and how did he then outwork Joshua during the 3rd round with a supposedly bad shoulder?

    Whye was able to expose many of Joshua's flaws in this fight, like how easy it is to outjab him.
    Whyte is a b level fighter. He should fight Jennings after Wilder whips him up.
