Serious talk - why on earth has Joshua chosen to be so musclebound?

Discussion in 'British Boxing Forum' started by Maxsplit, Dec 15, 2015.

  1. He's the typical sat-at-his-desk-in-a-low-paying-job-nonce who is annoyed because Joshua is a black man achieving things in his life.

The guy is an animal and lives for the sport. Whilst most on here will be busy eating their ****ty salad sandwiches wondering why their Mrs is ****ing another man, he'll be out training in his quest to become HW champ of the world. Good luck to him.

    This.

Tyson complains about not looking good despite training like a madman, it's his genetics which are to blame.

Mike Tyson could be a postman, same as Haye, and they'd still look in better shape than 99.9% of men out there.

Maybe the small matter of him having to fit boxing training into his day as opposed to weight training for hours on end.

I know it's hard to believe but you can actually build lean muscle through excersize and diet.

I know its a shock to alot of you but there you go. Genetics obviously play there part aswell.

Genuine question. How easy is it to gain 11lbs of lean muscle in 4 months whilst doing lots of cardio and looking more cut?

Something tells me fury's diet isn't the best that's why his body looks **** its mostly diet that gives you the ripped effect. Don't think Joshua would risk his reputation to be honest and sure he was the same size in the amateurs were the testing is very good.

It's a question I cant answer Im not an expert, I was simply saying that you can have a good physique through excersize and diet.

My diet isnt brilliant but I can gain muscle quite easily through a combination of weights and bodyweight excersize whilst also doing cardio.

It's all in the DIET and genetics obviously helps.

Im not naive to the fact professional athletes use supplements though.

Not really sure if joshua is on something, ppl keep sayin he has put 2 stone but he hasnt, he has gained about a stone since he turned pro, thats pretty much achievable with lots of weight training especially a guy with his size of frame, on the other hand it would not surprise me if him and lots of heavyweights are on gear as its the division where you can bulk up without worrying about making the weight, also he hasnt got a bodybuilders body, he has alot of muscle but it doesnt compare to a massive body builder who has veins poppin out everywhere, a quick google search will tell you that

My view is your big bubba is very likely on performance enhancing drugs to put on lean muscle. What my salary or Mrs has to do with this, no idea. Save I'd kick your ass one to one and show your Mrs what a real man can do. :hey

    Diet?

If he's consuming TONS of protein, lifting HEAVY weights, he WILL gain muscle.

Besides, some people genuinely have no problem gaining size. Others struggle for eternity.

Do you have definite proof that he has put on 11lbs of pure muscle?

    1. He's not that muscle bound.

    2. As a HW boxer it can be helpful to be big, strong and powerful. Training for strength and power will usually result in muscle growth.
