Fight Jacobs for a world title or fight Blackwell for the british?

If he chooses Jacobs (who Blackwell isn't even good enough to shine his shoes), and you call him a ducker then you need to be banned.

Blackwell wins this one regardless of who's show it is on.

Blackwell is a very good fighter and more than capable of giving Jacobs a hard fight. More capable than Eubank Jr would be anyway.

People are talking like it's a choice between Blackwell and Jacobs, is it really that far ahead? I know he holds the Interim but the WBA is never easily read...

If it's between Blackwell and a supposed 'eliminator' then for the sake of credibility he has to take on Blackwell.

    He HAS to face Blackwell.
In fact id say he needs a tune-up before facing Blackwell.
Then there is unfinished business with BJS......

the board doesn't tell promotors who all made bids, so unless eddie and fw called mick and said " by the way fat gut we are bidding against you" then there is no way he will know the other bidders.

lencoreastside, you really have a bee in your bonnet about eubank jr don't you! i know abused old spike but you really can't leave him alone, spike beats him oh wait he beats spike now blackwell beats him and it will be a duck if he doesn't face him instead of jacobs? grow up mate, blackwell doesn't sell **** and eubank jr could face jacobs and still get the fight with blackwell so why go with the high risk/low reward scenario when the blackwell fight will be there regardless.

just you worry about andy lee, matt macklin and spike and leave eubank jr to try have a career.

Well even you realize he would lose so my point is proven, but no Jacobs stops him in the 1st and jr in less than 4. Hell spike stops him as well.

Hennessy could put it on the undercard of Fury v Wlad II.

    Why not?

You're the Irish one who thinks boxing is a national sport, no? Leaving aside the oddness of that... it does explain why you might be a little touchy about Eubank just at the minute. I don't think his reputation will be 'in tatters' if he takes a world title shot.

Happily, I rather think he will fight Blackwell (and beat him).

CEJ isnt even the top middleweight in the UK - he hasnt even won the British Title. Talking about World Titles is a bit far-fetched.

CEJ faces another one of BJS' scalps. If BJS does beat Lee, then he really needs to start getting the recognition that he clearly deserves.
