The guy can't admit he has made business mistakes that ruined him.
He can't admit either to have used PEDS.
He's claiming he's adding to his legacy by fighting on.

What kind of role model does he thinks/ pretend he is ?

No he's not a phony, he's a good guy and a great boxer and for all the young fans that read this anti-Jones Propaganda watch this video and understand why Roy is an all time great and one of the best fighters of the modern era.

    Y'all Musta Forgot....so here's a reminder.

One trick pony of fast reflexes and speed.

Slowed down a little = on the canvas.
Hopefully he escapes serious brain damage from all the knockouts.

There are still people out there who still think he's NOT fighting for money.

He might have been a one trick pony, but what a trick! Roy was amazing to watch in the ring. I enjoy his commentating on hbo. I hope he hangs them up soon.

    I agree.

I'm surprised he gets the respect he does when he wa a notorious drugs cheat and a blatant ducker.

If he was a White Welshman called Roy Jones he'd get shat on but it seems Americans are willing to overlook PED use and ducking if it's one of their own.

He works as a commentator for HBO. He is hardly getting millions for his fights. You ****ing idiots on here want to stop pretending you know it all and making assumptions about his life.

He's a two trick pony then. Also, he was one of the most dominant champions of all time. To suggest that was only due to reflexes and speed is ludicrous.

You mean the guy who ran over that guy who ended up drinking himself to death because of it is a great guy because he gives money to charity?

The guy he ran over had to sell his house because he couldn't work anymore after that "accident". Where was Khan's charity back then?
The rich and famous are often involved in charity to look better in the light of the media and general public, they do it for themselves and make sure their acts of kindness gets media attention.
