It was a necessary fight to make the Crolla match up wasn't it based on the rankings etc?

 

I think Crolla is very unproven at world level.

 

Very bad matchmaking imo. Matchroom arent really interested in people just the money. Contrary to what they say. Shouldnt be having ppv until hes got a genuine star at the top of the game that can carry it alone. Hes putting guys in too early or tougher fights that needed to make it up to a ppv card. You cant fight the fight mitchell had against linares then go straight back in the lions den. Crazy matchmaking.

Feel sorry for Mitchell, seen a lot of boxers before this fight saying this one would be harder than v crolla. 100% convinced Mitchell would of beat crolla we will never find out now.

Think Eddie may have to do business with ****** now.

 

Yeah, was ridiculous. Mitchell hadn't recovered his state of mind. Looked like the Mitchell of the Burns fight to me.

Hope Hearn sorts out the same drug-testing regime during training for Barroso as British fighters have if he makes the Crolla fight.

Still, Crolla is the world champ and he isn't so justice prevailed.

 

Think Mitchell made him look good. Barroso can clearly punch but his movement wasn't great.

I'd fancy Crolla to beat Barroso. Think Mitchell was a tougher fight for Crolla stylistically.

Crolla's footwork is underrated. Been in many fights against people who were meant to blow him away.

 

I think Barosso beats Crolla, Eddie will definitely avoid the fight if he can. It's a dangerous fight and there's no money in it, he'll definitely go for the unification fight.

I heard him saying that the WBA allow a mandatory to be put aside for a unification fight, so they'll want Flanagan.

I looked up barroso when this fight was announced and had a sneaky feeling he beat mitchell.

a southpaw that can bang will be a nightmare for anyone!

flanagan vs barroso would be a great fight, possible foty contender if it ever happened.

 

Thought Mitchell helped him out quite a bit, a southpaw that can bang is always going to be dangerous but his movement and footwork was quite basic straight lines. Not sure how Crolla would handle him but if he can move about and fight on the backfoot aslong as he avoids the bombs he could take it.

 

Eddie ain't putting crolla near barosso anytime soon
