    I think this is on Nady, who has never been my favourite ref. He was late to separate and early to call a stop without giving Thomas the full minute to see if he could recover.

    Right call, given the rules. Wrong way of going about it.

    He got a no-decision not a DQ.

    The Abraham punch was an egregious foul, this one accidental.

    There's almost no similarity and certainly not "worse".

    It was just about on the bell or a bit after, I doubt either man heard the bell

    How come Bugilioni wasn't dq'd or had the fight called vs Chudinov after he hit him a good 3 or 4 seconds while Chud had his guard down and was going back to his corner?

    Exactly the AA punch was an egregious foul, but this wasn't, he knew he was on the way out, and that shot would have landed with or without the bell, he realized he had no chance of winning and got himself pulled out of the fight, IE worse than what Dirrell pulled.

    Totally agree, but Nady should have let the fight continue. Give Thomas 5 minutes to recover and dock Gassiev 1 point for the punch after the bell.
