4-1 Barthelemy. Rances landed the better stuff in the second half of the 5th to steal it. Extremely close rounds, though.

Nicely distributed attack and punch variety. Just plugging away steadily and efficiently, not wasting energy.

Good sustained body attack by Shafikov.

Barthelemy is missing a lot of straight combos over the nape of Shafikov's neck when he bows forward, then giving up and smothering instead of trying an uppercut or hook despite there being an opening. Very passive stuff from Barthelemy.

Shafikov is leading with left hands between the eyes and then slapping in a right hook on Barthelemy's temple. Barthelemy is ducking in, making himself the same height as Shafikov and sweeping hooks out in a wide arc from his face where both gloves are flypapered when not throwing. Shafikov is picking off jabs on the pinky edge of his gloves, whittling his way inside and throwing uppercuts and overhands at the head. Shafikov landing all over Barthelemy's mohawk, front to back, some punches legal, some not. Barthelemy tying up more than hitting back.
