I can't make a judgement based on herky jerky old films that would probably make anyone look bad.

When boxing writers saw the footage of Fitz v Corbett they were amazed at how poor the two legends looked. However Mendoza has some special remastered version which shows Fitz being a slick aggressive fighter.

So he has clear footage of prime Greb and prime Fitz. Such a blessed collector of film is he.

Have you seen the Clear film of this fight that was posted a year or two ago? I dont know what was done to it it or if the original is this clear or if this footage was remastered and edited, but it was astonishing just how good it was.

The footage I saw of Fitz posted to this website did not show Someone you would presume to be one of the greatest talents in history. It did show a very hard puncher though.
