Whattabuncha bull. The shell of Holmes troubled Tyson and made it to the fourth before getting his arm stuck in the rope.

He would've made it to the next round. His arm getting stuck was a very critical part of the fight. You're acting as if it was irrelevant. It might have even been the difference between winning and losing.

Right because who else stopped Larry again? He got up from shavers, dropped by Norton....won both.

Also, an even older Holmes beat a prime Mercer and gave a prime holyfield all he can handle.

But somehow Larry was old only against Tyson. And you say i don't know anything about boxing. Smh

Every argument about Tyson boils down to Douglas as if that fight defines his whole damn career.

Look at his fights with Biggs, Thomas and Tucker where he displays absolutely elite head movement and jab slipping.

But I'm sure you're one of those luminaries that thinks "prime" Tyson is a myth and the first guy that fought back "exposed" him.

Prime Tyson went life and death with Buster Douglas... and lost.

Holmes battled a very game Mike Weaver when he had a cold, and he knocked him out while he was still leading the score cards by about 2 rounds.

You're missing my point. I'm saying Douglas showed that jabs troubled Tyson.

Styles make fights. You point out everyone Holmes troubled and beat when he was older. You won't however, say how many tune up fights he had before each fight. Don't worry, I'll save you the trouble. :good His last fight before Tyson was two years earlier. He had 5 fights before he faced Mercer and 6 fights before he faced Holyfield.

Shavers and Snipes showed that right hands troubled Holmes.

Do you think Holmes was better at 42 than he was at 38?

They outreached Tyson by almost ten inches. Holmes would more then negate Tyson's left with the jab.
