Its not myth. I used to take gear and it enhanced my already aggressive side quite substantially. Some did nothing other like tren turned me into a complete ****. As for boxing it enables recovery to improve a massive amount. So every session is a good one. Obviously skill and technique is most important but imagine going to every training session fresh as daisy. You move on a lot quicker.
It's a myth to suggest steroids make you stronger, they allow you to train harder and for longer and with much reduced rest periods between strength and conditioning work. An athlete using steroids would be able to conduct two to three max weight sessions per day, as opposed to the one every other day which is recommended when training without PED assistance. Any injury suffered would also be recovered from much more rapidly, thus reducing the times when an athlete cannot train. But without the hard work, without the extra heavy training they enable an athlete to endure, steroids would have little or no impact. And as for roid rage, it's possible that athletes who choose to take steroids are by their very nature already highly competitive and display the inherent aggression needed to put themselves through tough training sessions. That aggression was probably there all along.
I've only ever done one cycle but have done a lot of research and know lots of guys who have used for a long time.
Read my other post, I've already said it amplifys personality traits, it doesn't magically turn calm people into aggressive monsters.
I get frustrated with all the 'AJ on steroids' threads that appear on here on a daily basis, because such claims without any evidence are as meaningless as they are unfair. But there is one question Joshua does need to answer: Why did he take a year off between the Olympics and his pro debut? While neither an active amateur or an active pro, he would not have been subject to any testing.
Another one who is ill informed. The right steroids will jack up your CNS considerably - again Halotestin is a great example - and markedly increase one's strength. EDIT: just read the rest of your post, lol nonsense all round. The thing about steroids allowing you to train up to three heavy sessions a day - totally vacuous statement without elaboration as to dosages and specific compounds. Good luck trying to do that on a modest test based cycle. And let me reiterate, "roid rage" is NOT a ****ing myth. Most of the people talking about PEDs here have no clue what they are talking about and are making blanket statements. Stop just talking about "steroids" in your post. Mention specific hormones and specific steroids because they are all totally ****ing different in effect.
So you're saying a boxer can take steroids, lie on his sofa for a couple of months, do no weights and gain strength? lol Agreed re: dosage but I wasn't outlining a training program, merely clarifying how steroids aid a training regime in principle. If I hadn't been clear about that in my original post, I have now. Steroids do not - without a tailored training regime - award added strength without an increased level of training. Steroids enable harder training, more often with the added benefit of a more rapid recovery in general and a more rapid recovery from periods of injury. Now go do some research, as it is you, sir, who is ill-informed.
sportsci.org/encyc/anabster/anabster.html Here, this brief synopsis might help you. I can't post it as a link at present but copy and paste the above into the browser of your choice. Note the paragraph which states: "Heavy resistance training seems to be necessary for anabolic steroids to exert any beneficial effect on physical performance". And later where the article states: "Many athletes have said that anabolic steroids help them train harder and recover faster." I'll leave you to it
Unbelievable as in ped aided? You look at the young Wlad's gas tank issues, that was because he was clean.
You're well out of your depth here, gonna pop you on ignore and check up on you in a few months, see if you've raised your game a bit. Ciao for now DJ. :hi:
