Could Lewis have survived the onslaught that was Manilla?

No l didn't. I said a prime Lewis would beat both a 1975 Lewis and Frazier. l never mentioned anything about the heat. Add a lack of comprehension skills to your many shortcomings.

When I criticized him for what he said, you defended him and disagreed with what I said. You're a joke.

He's a lot more correct on the topic than you are, so ya.

You have the logic of a kindergartener.

Let's see it goes something like this.

Lewis was KO'd twice by mediocre fighters, so he has a glass jaw, so that means practically any ATG can beat him.

Prove, well if he were in the ring with Ali or Frazier in Manila and he was hit like they were he would get KO'd. That's basically your argument.

No thoughts about where these guys were in their careers at the time they fought. No consideration about all the other bangers Lewis was in the ring with, No consideration that he avenged his two losses, in one case, emphatically, No consideration about the size, height, strength and reach disparity all in favor of Lewis.

I mean no offense, but you hardly have any ****ytical skills whatsoever, and I'm an ****yst by profession, so I know a good ****ysis when I see one, even if I might disagree with the result.

Look kid, I'm not trying to embarrass you, and I'm not the best speller in the world, I'll readily admit, but for starters you spelt Manila incorrectly in the title of your thread. :rofl

Yes I did. But you were trying to call me stupid, when you can't even put an effing period at the end of your sentence.

I shouldn't resort to name calling. I apologize.

As far as periods go, like I said, writing on a cell phone is vastly different than on a computer, and honestly I'm no fan of it. It also does some wild and weird autocorrecting that I can live without.

It's all right man. In all fairness, I did my fair share of name calling myself. I also apologize for that.

I understand how hard it is writing on a phone rather than a computer. I hate autocorrect.

It's all opinion man. But many on here would disagree with you.

No worries, at the end of the day it's all good. Most of us are truly boxing fans, but regardless we all have our favorites.

Others not only have their favorites, but take great pride (perhaps even joy) in slamming other boxers who don't quite fit their idea of what a fighter should be. For better, or worse, you definitely fall into this category.

Others also have a clear bias for other fighters and would pick them over anybody. "For better, or worse, you definitely fall into this category." :yep

Lewis was better than Ali in almost every conceivable way. He would have outboxed Ali and stopped him late. Too much size, too much power, too much skill.

I don't think too many guys survive what either endured

They were both beaten and physically spent

I don't know if I've seen two heavies put that kind of beating on eachother in such a physically grueling fight

Most times at hwt somebody goes down long before that much attrition occurs

If you're talking about my view of Lewis relative to other ATG heavyweights it pretty much mirrors Emmanual Steward's and l'm more than satisfied with that.
