    If this carries on then Kell will have to drop his belt, thats never going to happen though and besides it plays right as Hearn wants it

    I hear you. Like Andre Ward, Kell Brook is in the prime of his career. And like Andre Ward, Kell Brook's prime years seem to be passing him by, without him fully capitalising.

    Atleast Ward fought & dominated the best at his weight. Kell's done great to get a world title but cant get in any meaningful legacy defining fights. His resume will be comparable to British world champions that he was far better than.

    To be honest, the IBF have been a joke since their "cash for ratings" scam was uncovered, ending with the resignation and conviction of IBF president Bob Lee on racketeering charges and the accepting of bribes.

    Maybe but the IBF are making sure their mandatory challengers are getting their shots and that can only be a good thing to be fair.

    Look at th WBC and see how they basically freeze fighters out or having them waiting a very long time. It looks to me like the WBC make the rules up as they go along.

    That's all well and good if the mandatory challenger is a worthy challenger. If it's Jo Jo Dan and then Bizier (who lost to Dan already) then it's just a waste of the champion's time.

    Glazkov and Martin are hardly worthy challengers for the heavyweight belt and even if Fury didn't have the Klitschko rematch to fight he may have dumped the belt anyway rather than fight Glazkov since very few would be bothered to see that fight.

    Don't see what the IBF are achieving by enforcing so many mandatories with unworthy challengers.

    I was comparing Brook to Ward in terms of where Kell is at in his career with respect to his age, and was NOT comparing Brook to Ward in terms of talent and skill level.

    But you would know that, IF you'd actually taken the time to read my post in a thorough and an attentive manner, instead of simply jumping to erroneous conclusions. :lol: :patsch

    Wilder's resume is looking like Oscar's compared to Kell's.

    The blame has to be placed on Kell as well. He does have a voice after all.
