Name your best example of a high profile hw dodging blows while landing blows. Not just dodges, but dodging and then landing on the opponent. The last 30 seconds of Round 3 in Vitali K Corrie Sanders would be my pick. Vitali absolutely Matrixes Corries well aimed shots and lands some heavy ones. I've never seen anything like it. I've seen some awesome GIF's of Ali dodging. But the best dodging examples I've seen from him doesn't show him really landing anything in turn.
Anyone? Please post GIFs if you have them. This isn't meant to be an incendiary thread, I've put my opinion up but I'd genuinely like other example to watch.
Lol. Vitali was taking an ass whooping the first three rounds by a guy who drank beer every day during training camp. VK landed a few at the end of Rd 3 but nothing spectacular like you say.
How bout the first 2rds of Wlad-Sanders and the first 2.75 rds of Vitali-Sanders , that's better dodging and hitting by Corrie. Any way you slice it, Sanders is the Klitschko killer for 2rds.
Huh? Well, that's good crazy talk. Vitali lost round one, won the next two round (and all the following round). You either didn't watch the same fight I did or are letting insane bias warp your view. Corrie threw shots I've never seen another HW dodge and then land on. If you've got another example, please feel free to post the GIF or mention the fight.
Yeah, just watched it today. It was a great fight, underrated performance by Corrie, who had TONS of natural ability. But he didn't dodge anything REMOTELY like what VK did towards the end of round 3. Move on loser.
So far, one good comment, one brainless troll without a rational point. KO Kidd, good post. I just watched the fight. Basically, it was one great dodge by Tyson and a great counterpunch. It would definitely make the list. I'd still call it short of Vitali Corrie because it was just one dodge as opposed to about 20 dodges. But, Tyson ko'd his opponent in response, so it could definitely be in the conversation. Anyone else? This is one of the coolest parts of boxing to me, so I'd love to see more examples (especially by people not brainless enough to deny great dodges when they see them, like Koyote).
