Take away those two knock downs and he won. That has got to be some motivation for fighting him again.

I agree there was not much in it, mathematically, on points. But its the MANNER of the defeat thats the issue. He ought not to have been beaten by a smaller light puncher.
Plus all his talk before the fight about how "Ive never lost on points and I never will - if Im behind on points Ill go all out "....etc etc..

    But he didn't, did he?
He actually surrendered his title rather tamely in the end.

u no wat len... this is the sort of fight that could sell out the stadium... be shown live on rte or boxnation ... its a terrific fight between 2 top prospects... I have to fancy our luke as cummings hasn't impressed me as much...hes a bit one dimensional and can be easy to hit... meli wuz robbed against him and luke is much stronger than meli :good

Obviously I will be shouting for 'our Luke :p' as you call him. But I've only ever seen that one glimpse of him from prizefighter so I cant in all honestly say who would win. I have seen Cummings live and on film so I am in a better position to judge him. He is very 'solid' but not spectacularly a 'standout' if you get my drift.

Every fighter says that. Saunders said he was gonna stand and trade with him but he didn't and wouldn't.

Admit it - you're at least slighty disappointed with the way Andy tamely surrendered his title.

Wouldn't say anybody could be disappointed in Andy but I'm sure he was disappointed with support. Can't help wondering if packed venue like 3arena with 95 percent Irish support would have given Andy lift needed after knockdowns.

Bad decision surrending home advantage in hindsight and bad decision trying to put fight in Limerick. With a top undercard in 3 arena would have no doubt sold out.

I think only way to be build a following is fighting regularly back home and Andy never had that opportunity unfortunately. With MGM building fighters in likes of stadium then moving to bigger venues like 3 arena, Irish fighters will have odds stacked towards not against them for a change!

Do you think Cummings will take the fight. Going by some on here he was lucky to get the draw against meli. His handlers might not want to risk him against you

I was disappointed. I saw no reason why he should lose to Billy Joe Saunders. And barring those two knock downs, he didn't lose. That's what I was disappointed about. All he had to do was stay on his feet, but he got careless.

Fighters talk, and very seldom do they walk the walk (even your boyfriend Billy Joe).

You obviously have a chip on your shoulder regarding Andy Lee, and you can say you don't all you want but you take every opportunity you get to bash him. Your a broken record.
