Oscar took a risk and somehow tested the waters with Lemieux against Golovkin to see if GGG is so dangerous and we all know what happened.

Most probably they will try to keep Canelo (GBP's only golden goose) away from GGG as much as they can by fighting bloated up high profile welters like Bradley and Khan. I think these 2 would gladly want to fight Canelo @ 155 lbs for the mw lineal title.

“You know one fight I wouldn’t mind putting together down the road or whenever is Amir Khan vs. Canelo,” De La Hoya said to KO Artist. “I wouldn’t mind seeing that. I think Amir Khan is a fighter who can move up to 154 and fighter who can fight at 147. Amir Khan is a fighter who is very versatile, and he’s a fan favorite fighter. Think about his fights; he’s always in an exciting fight. He goes down; he gets back up. He’s exciting. So I think Amir Khan vs. Canelo would be very interesting,” De La Hoya said.

"If Bradley wins and is not fighting Pacquiao, I’d like to make him with Canelo. That’s a good fight," Arum told ESPN.com. "If Canelo beats Cotto, I’ve talked to (Alvarez promoter) Oscar (De La Hoya) about the winner of Bradley-Rios fighting Canelo, and he loves it."

I imagine Bradley would take the fight. He's the perfect "Canelo opponent" right now. WBC should've just stripped off Canelo. They are really lame.

WBC would allow Canelo how many fights he wants as long is a good business.

The winner of Martinez - Cotto has to fight GGG
After Cotto has his optional defence, he has to fight GGG
Cotto-Canelo winner must fight GGG or get stripped
Canelo has an optional defence then ........ bla, bla, bla , same ol' sh*t

    :-(

As I thought. Now Canelo will fight a chiny welterweight @ 155 lbs only because Khan is a high profile fighter.

NO Charlos, NO Andrade and definitely NO Golovkin.:-(

It was clear that Oscar won't put his only cashcow in front of a monster like Golovkin. He did it with Lemieux and he saw that GGG is the real, real deal.:yep

Bradley vs Pacquiao winner, Danny Cherry Garcia, Thurman vs Porter winner, even Broner are viable matches for Canelo @ 155 lbs.:good

It'll be either Canelo vs Floyd or Canelo vs Marquez @154.000000001 next.

Good shout ! I didn't think about at an ancient Marquez. That's a very good option for 155Chicknelo.

Also all Floyd's victims could be mentioned as possible 155Chicknelo opponents like Marquez, Fatton, Judah, Guerrero, Ortiz is a good addition, retired 200 lbs Maidana would be a good s****, Berto and of course Pacquiao - Bradley winner.:good
