To me it looked like an 8.5.

AJ said he momentarily lost his balance.

Nobody is actually buying that, are they?

It wasn't even a clean shot and if Whyte had landed again while he was staggered it would probably have been goodnight, but the main problem for me is his lack of mobility and head movement, plus he doesn't jab well, always loading up power shots. His style is well suited to blasting out cans and faded bums quickly but not dudes that won't fold under pressure. It's Price all over again imo.

He got caught right on the button and his legs went stiff, his senses were still there and he recovered quickly. That's all there is to it.

Think the body shots took a lot out of him by the way he went to his stool

Looked a bit buzzed, but got back straight away and didn't feel the need to hold, considering his "glass" is a hot topic on here, I thought he did well, he's certainly no David Price

Some people must spend hours looking for diferent faults to slag AJ down even posting videos from years ago :rofl.
In my opinion all heavyweights get staggered when caught even the best but it's about how they recover.
Whilst Aj is untested as a pro with him being a british boxer he will get my support :good unlike some so called british boxing fans who cant wait for him to lose :-:)patsch:roll:

Got caught with a very good shot, he was hurt but you can tell from the fact that he got tagged by nothing else immediately after that he was in control of himself so I think he was more buzzed than badly hurt.

He recovered quite well, but didn't cover up or move.

The punch that stiffened him was only a short cross, had it been a full blooded shot, things could have been different.

I am not one to slate A Joshua nor am I going to jump on the Joshua is the best thing since sliced bread bandwagon like the casuals have.

Joshua is doing ok and learning more as he steps up more,he still has a lot to learn and will be criticised as every one of his fights are on prime time tv as his whole career is under the microscope.

From what I have seen he has done very well fighting what looks like fat blokes who have been dragged out of the pub for a few quid.

I have the feeling that he will always struggle against smart fighters with good movement not that Dillian Whyte had either of those attributes he just had a big heart and wasn`t afraid of Joshua.

For Joshua to live up to the hype bestowed upon him by the casuals and his daft promoter he has to realise his weaknesses and work on them.If he doesn`t then I can see him going the same way as Price as smart fighters will exploit those weaknesses.
