ggg definatley has the power to drop a 160 toney
could he keep him there possibly not
    hard fight for both men
reggie johnson dropped toney hard with a looping overhand left but toney had decenct power as well at 160 but did not train very hard which was why jackie kallen kept him so busy.

No. I have the argument from the same people who slag GGG.
They are both lucky they didn't have to face the couch warriors in the ring.

Ignorance is one thing but I can't get my mind around the ones that question the courage of these guys who go out there and put it on the line.

Toney was no ATG at 160. Too inconsistent, probably from weight issues and his inconsistent training/eating habits. I thought he beat Johnson without controversy, but some do think he lost and he clearly was hurt when he got dropped by him. He got a complete gift against Dave Tiberi and was also fortunate to get the nod in the rematch with Mike McCallum. He spent less time at 160, but he was a better fighter there.

If Toney is on his game though, he'd probably win a decision over GGG. Particularly the Toney who fought McCallum the first time and was unlucky to get a draw. He was extremely sharp that night. I need to see GGG look good against much better opposition to pick him over that version of Toney.

    Nope.

GGG is in his mid 30's now, yeah?

And he doesn't seem to be in a giant hurry to fight somebody of Toney's caliber.

How much longer you wanna' wait before somebody posts this thread?

For the record, I'll go with Toney UD GGG@ 160

I think Toney would be able to take shots that landed.

At MW, I think this would be a decent match up, but couldnt imagine Toney beating GGG.

GGG points in an interesting fight
