Boxing is a skinny man's sport.

It's always been that way. The ideal frame is long, lean and strong. Even guys like Hagler who were stocky and short often time have ridiculously long arms for their height to compensate.

I'd give myself a decent shot. I could probably walk through his punches. In sparring I've never had trouble walking through flyweights.

I'd wager you never sparred with a flyweight on the level of Gonzales. In fact, I'd wager that you have never sparred with a flyweight on a national amateur level. Maybe you would have a shot against Gonzales but reason tells me otherwise.

I've only sparred a few flyweights because almost nobody is that small. And the ones that I did spar hit like Flyweights. They just cannot generate power. Featherweight and up is where the power starts to become noticeable and harder to cope with.

Fair enough but how often you get hit can be just as bad as how hard you get hit. I don't know how big or how good you are but I still would place my money on Gonzalez.

I only Fight At 151 pounds. And I'm not good enough to go pro. I went to college because I would never make it professionally.

It's more in joking that I could take Gonzalez. I couldn't take him. But I do believe I would walk through his punches.
