If you do pivot it needs to be as a result of a push off. You get power from pushing into the ground, that's just the reality of physics. Either is fine but the longer you can keep your heel on the ground while pushing the more impulse you can generate and transfer. If you're actively trying to get on your toes to pivot then you're limiting the force you can put into the ground.

Can one throw a straight right cross leaving the right heel on the floor, or is it better to elevate it after throwing like a pitcher?

Try keeping the toes of the floor, it stabilizes the ankle, plus lifts it, does help stop restricting the opposite side of the body, from working as it should.

Both heels the same, just of the floor, otherwise you get a bad habit of feet to wide, making you of balance.

Truth! That happened in my last fight, I ended up with my feet being to wide apart. What's bio- mechanical reason as to why that happens?

Ok s**** I'm confused wasn't it you who said to caste your head over your right knee in order to keep it off the line of fire. So how wouldn't the oral cavity be in wrong place with my head off centred?

Never said it, it sits top of the spine, where its supposed to be. What moves it are the body's joints, doing there job.
