Mendoza isn't really one of those one punch guys. Attrition kind of grinder... Akira has a block as a head as well. Maybe the power thing is saying it in hindsight, but, meh... I voiced similar concerns about Akira taking the kid deep and drowning him days ago.

Cheers man, some interesting insight there, last time I took news like that into account I made some money off of Charles Hatley!

I've already put my bet down on Ioka!

Be careful! If you want to pick my brain or shoot the **** about boxing betting feel free. I was on board when Granados upset Imam at 9 to 1 odds, haha. :tired

I'm really curious to see how they respectively look at the weigh ins.

I think its a little bit of both. If that were a heavier handed fighter Mendoza would be on a stretcher right now.

Always up for boxing betting talk!

Great pick with Granados! I didn't make a play on that one, but I'm guessing I would have taken Imam!

CST is a great poster to keep an eye on in regards to upsets. He's a crotchety critical pain in the ass so he doesn't fall in love with prospects and usually has a very keen eye on potential upsets. :good

I believe it was ellerbe, he was posting earlier in this thread. He lives in Japan if I'm remembering correctly.
