Yaegashi won, wide points, in an action packed bout.
    Inoue decimated Parrenas

The former is pleasant news. I believed in Yaeg, but it sounds like he downright dominated and manhandled Mendoza for stretches which is a little surprising (though Yaeg was also hurt himself at least once...in the 7th?)

The latter is 0% unexpected.

I would have been sorely disappointed if Parrenas saw a 3rd.

    Hosono SD.

I'm not sure whether it was televised but on paper that match-up deserved to be. Must've been a war.

That was devastating from Inoue...truly amazing. He didn't even hit him with his best shots either. Inoue said he wants to stay at 115 and would be open to fighting in the US if the chance arises.

Here's round 2 for those that missed it:

    Inoue's plan for 2016 (hopefully):
-Get that useless rematch with Narvaez out of the way by February
    -Fight Carmona in June
    -Cuadras by November

Meanwhile Gonzalez rematches Gallo..and by early 2017 we might have the best fight in Boxing ready to go.

Oh wow, I'd completely forgotten about good old Bellamy since his loss to Charlo.

Wasn't he supposed to have been relocating home to base himself in NYC, or am I remembering that wrong? :huh

Maybe after so many years rooted there he decided he just couldn't leave Japan.

    Hey now, be nice. :nono

Omar has paid his dues with years of yeoman work and earned the dignity of being KTFO early again. :!:
