Even Floyds uncle Rodge don't think so.

    Cause he does did.
What skill comes even close ? Duran had more power and has been retired much longer.

I guess since every decade that goes by past fighters get that much greater. Floyd needs a couple more decades to compete, you guys actually watch the fights or go off the older generation where they think so much more highly of them than they did while still active

    Duran probably is too.

But it's as clear as day on film that Duran was a more dynamic talent than Floyd.

Depends how you describe talent. They were two completely different fighters.

Duran would negate his opposition's attack with slight adjustments of his head which made him deceptively hard to hit cleanly. Along with being heavy handed and a controlled aggression with a high workrate he was close to being an ultimate fighting machine. Throw in his iron chin and superb stamina few could match Roberto in his prime.

Floyd was a defensive genius with averge power who scored with a high percentage of the punches he launched. His upper body movement and "antennas" for knowing what was coming his way was phenomenal. If that did not work his footwork got him out of trouble.

Two superbly talented fighters. My money would always be on Duran to defeat Floyd but I would feel safer if it was over 15 rounds.

Mayweather nevers ko's or stops Duran imo, he would maybe win some early rounds but he never beat anyone as good as a prime Roberto. Whereas Duran beat them all, especially at lightweight where he was probably the best of all time at that weight.

Duran has much better feints. Much better footwork. He know how to shift. He's much better infighting. Much better agression. Much better parrying. He knows how to exploit angles better.

He's just a lot better than Mayweather.

It's all opinion, dude and just because someone else has a different opinion from you doesn't make them an idiot.
