    Roy Jones Jr vs Vinny Paz( July 1995)

    KOT 6

    When you look at the third and final knowdown in the 6th round:

    Yes Pazienza is done but how Jones did it ....wow

    This...in movement... in only 2 seconds exactly:

    -Left uppercut (lead)
    -Left hook
    -Right hook
    -Right Uppercut (lead)
    -Left Uppercut

    How many fighters in history of boxing would have been able to replicate that ......alone in front of their mirror??

    Jones did it with : speed, strange angles, power, in movement

    It was incredible.

    The haters will be along shortly to point out that it was 'only Vinny Paz' but it was amazing how he did it whilst walking forward.

    I've never seen anyone use uppercuts from either hand as part as a combination like Roy did.

    That really was a thing of beauty.

    It's funny, because I've been told tonight that Roy couldn't have hung with GG or Kov, and that he'd only have won a maximum of 3/4 rounds against Calzaghe.

    Rjj was even shocked that the ref was like,
    Finish him !!! Vinny wasn't in any condition to fight. If anyone wants to waste their time, they had major problems trying to get Vinny a license for that fight.. major issues upstairs. .

    Vinny was NO MO R E than a lightweight bag. It was like fighting a very small heavy bag.

    Jones had much better showings than that, against better quality fighters, that was a tip top rjj against a fighter not qualified to fight on fnf

    I can ascertain that he maintained his caffeine habit well after retirement. I stood at the urinal next to him at some local club show and the Pazmanian Devil's stream was a rich, dark orange-ish. :!:
