Wasn't that impressive. I've seen Jones do more amazing stuff.

    I'd have been very surprised.

Not walking forward in the same manner.

    It wasn't that impressive?

You need to appreciate the difficulty in throwing those shots with speed, power and precision, whilst walking forwards.

    It was incredible.

Two uppercuts, one off each hand, as part of a six punch combo, whilst on the move?

It doesn't get much better than that.

Not only was paz so much smaller, but he was coming off breaking his neck in a car accident. Doctors said he should not even box.

So yeah, that's jones unleashing against a 5'6 light weight that was nearly paralyzed from the neck down. But the paisanos calzaghe and enzo mac got roy back :)

It was impressive by Kevin, but hardly the same.

My point being, I could post you rounds involving: Mitchell, Khan, Bute etc which makes them look like ATGs - it's not just what you look like but who you are fighting.

    That's not the point though.

    The point is:

    The footwork

    The punch variation

    The power

    The timing/accuracy

It doesn't matter that Vinny wasn't a great fighter. (no disrespect intended)

The point is, just throwing those shots against any level of fighter is astonishing.

If a footballer spots the keeper off of his line from 40 yards out, and chips it over him with great precision and technique, it's still a great goal, even if it's not against an international keeper. You've still got to appreciate the level of skill involved.

Do you think if Kevin Mitchell had fought a novice, he could have replicated what Roy did?

Forget the opponent, and look at the degree of difficulty.

    It was amazing.

They were lead shots whilst walking forward.

Look at the slow mo and watch his feet.

Most fighters, especially Khan, would not be able to do what Roy did. It requires too much athleticism, balance, and coordination, which Roy had in spades. Roy had freakish physical gifts.

Not that impressive considering that Paz was already dazed and couldn't get out of the way of a slow moving bus at that point in the fight. It was essentially heavy bag practice for Jones.
