I couldn't agree more a short armed fighter like Duran would be beat to the punch from the outside and out maneuvered around the ring all night long.

Yep Duran was inconsistent being disciplined is key to being great James toney could have been a top 40 atg if he had the discipline to stay in shape but he didn't and it's held against him.

Floyd couldn't even handle JLC pressure. Are you kidding me. You think a guy who can't handle JLC can stop an angry Duran?

Floyd could never out maneuver prime Duran.

Why would longer arms that carry no power be an advantage to Floyd?

But the version of Mayweather, with a torn rotator cuff against Castillo, was a fair measurement? :think

    :patsch:patsch:patsch

The difference is pbf always found a way to win he didn't get knocked out boxed or quit when the going got tough like Duran did.

Because pbf could dictate range much like he did against Pac long arms superior reflexes and movement will spell disaster for duran. Pbf would fight him on the outside where he would hold a huge advantage.

I'd have to say talent wise they are very close. Both nearly perfect at their own respective styles
