The guy never really faced anyone that was truly elite in their prime .I mean Kessler really he's not Jones ..Joe has never dealt with the speed and power of what a prime Jones had this is why he never chased the fight when it meant something ..

 

Ward would beat Calzaghe.

 

he didn't even beat an uninjured Kessler, electing to face him ONLY when his hand was crocked and in the safety of cardiff, and ran very quickly from the prospect of rematching him post kesslers hand surgery.

the rematch in Denmark might well have been the close win that Kessler was managing first time, until his hand gave way.

It's really hard to go against a prime ROy JOnes on this one. I don't think Joe C does anything better than a prime ROy Jones jr, and there's no shame in that. Prime Jones is a nightmare H2H matchup for any ATG. I don't see Calzaghe having much of a chance at all.
