    She even stated if he refuses, and Kovalev beats Ward, 0 chance that Stevenson would get 50/50

    Not only that road warrior Kovalev will be and always planned on going to Stevenson's backyard for the fight. That's a big advantage for Stevenson. Kovalev will be bringing all 3 of his belts to his backyard, all of which he won in his opponent's home country or backyard.

    Don't forget that Kovalev beat the rightful unified WBA & IBF champion Gabriel Campillo before he got his hands on those 2 belts as well. Campillo was robbed twice over in the US, the second of which against Tavoris Cloud was described as one of the worst robberies of the year. Campillio hadn't legitimately lost in something like 5 years when Sergey trounced him.

    Although, that could be offset by Kovalev agreeing to fight Stevenson in Montreal, as was earlier suggested by Serge.

    Also, Kathy Duva has offered June as the possible meeting date. Should Stevenson subsequently announce a fight with a Glen Johnson or a Tommy Karpency-type opponent for his next fight in, say, late April, it makes it look like Stevenson is ducking Kovalev (and not just a cross-promotional impasse).

    Seems as if Main Events are using this as a clever ploy to call Stevenson's bluff, and back him into a corner.

    But yea, Stevenson would be dumb to say no. He would look extremely dumb.

    Stevenson will probably demand 70/30 and claim he's the a-side, his fanboys MVC! and Ellerbe will agree with him :lol:

    Yeah, Adonis would look like even more of a Chickenson, were he to refuse a fight that could, potentially, silence his doubters and detractors

    Hey, even if Stevenson accepts the fight, takes a sustained beating and goes out on his shield, he will win a lot of respect for doing so.

    Serial racist Cereal Monotony would probably claim Stevenson deserves a 90/10 split, and that the nasty bully Kovalev hasn't beaten anybody. :nut

    That seems fair. Adonis is the true champion of the division, but Kovalev has had the better wins over the past 2 years or so.

    This would be by far one of the best matchups to make in all of boxing.

    Stevenson is the lineal champ and is a bigger draw he should probably be getting a 60/40 split.
