Breakout year for Parker, further development for Hughie Fury, hopefully the emergence of Rivas and Dinu as contenders. I predict Ortiz won't be able to line up any big fights, Joshua will rack up some wins over highly ranked albeit low risk opponents.
A good 5 true hw's that could become 1st ballot hof'er's.. Only problem is, to me, povetkin and wlad have to somehow prove they belong or in wlads case still belongs. I can't see them hanging more than a few roundd against DW AJ or Ortiz to save their siblings, children or parents lives. Let haye stay until he proves on way or the other, same with fury. Fury doesn't have the tools to try messing with the big 3, not sure he will beat the 40 yr old wlad either. That rematch could rid the top 5 hw's of wasted space. Povetkin, just too small and way too chinny, haye, depends on his big toes.
This will be the year the fraud that is Deontay Wilder will be exposed, rejoice my friend! Happy New Year BTW! arty
Think Szpilka has a good shot here? :think He's chinny like Wilder sure, but he has some skills and can punch himself. 2 weeks until we find out.
Any halfway decent fighter with a punch has a CHANCE to shatter Wilder's glass jaw. However, this fight looks like another set up to me - another mediocre, chinny never-was for Wilder to bowl over and then maintain the illusion of his phony punching power. Don't get me wrong, it's certainly possible that Wilder gets exposed, but I tend to think that this will have to wait until he's forced to fight Povetkin.
10. Oscar Rivas: Beaten no one of note. There are much better prospects. 9. Izu Ugohan: Beaten no one of note. There are much better prospects. 8. Wlad Klit: Faded Legend. Who knows what he has left? 7. David Haye: Once very good but injured, inactive, and probably shot. How is he above Wladdy? 6. Joseph Parker: Emerging superstar 5. Alexander Povetkin: Complex. I would have thought that he was briefly going to supplant Wladdy, but not hold on much longer since he is 36. With the emergence of Fury, it is hard to say his future. He will beat Wilder, but after that... 4. Anthony Joshua: Needs a lot of time. Was neck and neck with Parker, but after Whyte his team has admitted that he needs another year and a half. 3. Tyson Fury: Unseated a great to win the championship as Joshua struggles against Whyte and Wilder struggles against anybody and nobody. No reason to bet against him. Should be number 1 on the list. 2. Deontay Wilder: Joke. How is this guy seated at #2? Struggled against Molina, Duhaupas, Scoiners and Nichols, and did not do as good against Stiverne as King and Rossy. He sucks. 1. Ortiz? He is a steroids abuser. A cheat. And why is he on here, because he beat a janitor? **** this guy and anyone who supports him. Notice that a lot of people who look a certain way get on this list when they don't deserve it and even if they do deserve to be on the list on a low level, get unmerited high rankings. A prospects, Granat, Wallin, Wallisch, Kuzman, Hugh Fury, and Martin should all be above Ugonah and Rivas. Perhaps Helenius as a re-prospect. Pulev and Chagaev need to be on here as well.
You're a moron. How the he'll is Povetkin chinny when he's only ever been put over by Wlad lol. As for Dilian Whyte he is British level at best and the fight him and Joshua just had was a British level fight. Fury will stand the cheat Ortiz,Joshua,Whyte and Parker on their heads regardless of whether he wins or loses the rematch.
