Mayweather, I have zero doubt about this. The skills gap is far too apparent.

 

There's always a doubt when someone has one punch KO power like Jackson.

 

The last thing that Mayweather worries about in another fighter is power.

 

I honestly think Floyd could outpoint him. It's possible Jackson could catch him. Jackson was easy to hit and kind of ponderous.

Floyd UD in a track meet. No way Floyd engages to a man that legitimately bombed out middleweights with a single punch. Floyd jab and move all night, keeps everything to 2 punches max, with minimal time spent on the ropes. The shoulder roll although effective leaves the side torso exposed. Floyd could be hurt with body punches, something that Jackon was very adept at. Jackon loved to throw right hooks to the body.

And afterwards we have to hear how he defeated the greatest puncher easily and he's the best ever etc etc

Its not out of Floyds character. He has been doing it for the last 4 years consistently bragging and selling that best ever narrative. His talent is undeniable.

Jackson is probably the most diffiuclt person to speculate about H2H matchups in boxing history.

If Jackson were to land 1 single punch flush Floyd would not make the 10 count.
