Can someone school me on what BJS is thinking?

The Firm offer was around 3 million usa money plus another HBO date.No one comes close to that so what is he dragging his feet for?

  2. Would you want to get knocked out in your first defence when you've got a promoter who is well known for holding the WBO belt to ransom with easy defences?

Great answer, plus he can still have respectful an well paid credited fights without taking on the beast that is GGG

Yep, he can probably make that 3 million fighting 4-5 cupcakes plus a big fight with Eubank and stay healthy with little punishment as well

All depends how many Tommy Langfords he needs to fight to get 3 million dollars.

    He should take the fight.

He could make a few million against Eubank with ******s PPV on Sky next year. He would likely outbox Eubank also.

  8. Biggest issue is for Fisheyes. BJS has no commercial appeal, can't draw a crowd and isn't a headliner despite his world title.

Would it make financial sense to throw BJS and just take his cut or is he likely to lose money on him in the short term?

Both an improved Eubanks Jr and the superfit Blackwell are by no means easy fights for Billy Joel..

He's an intelligent, adaptable, and natural fighter. Just imagine if he did became the man who took Kennedy Glovekin's 'o'..

I'm sure he likes to present himself as he fears no man but then when his long term bank balance (supposedly) and legacy is threatened then he probably finds that he is doubting himself.

Which is why he needs CEJ more than he like to let on. Otherwise he might as well go by the fight name of Billy 'black curtain'

Is 2 Million pound worth risking your career for? Who of the people that GGG has fought and destroyed have came back to look anything like the fighters they were going into the fight? I like BJS and imo he is a pretty weak champion that would be best served taking a few easy defences against the guys just under the top dogs of Canelo/GGG/Cotto and with for the right time to get one of these scalps. GGG will move up if he can't get the Cotto or Canelo fights imo

Come on Fish Eyes put your man in to get KO'd and pick up your money!! Or maybe you'll eat your own words and protect you're asset rather than make the fight against a true champ! He always slags off other promoters for doing exactly that so let's see what buull he comes up with now.

Watching iFL video and forgot one of Woz's best tricks. He said he'd like Saunders to fight in March. There's absolutely no way they'll negotiate GGG in time. Suddenly, their schedules don't match and eventually GGG looks elsewhere for credible opponents.

He did it with Calzaghe and Hatton. Keep them busy with BS fights and it's a great cover excuse. "We want to keep him busy", that sort of rubbish.
