pre - Margarito Cotto was a devastating fighter who many were touting as the most dangerous challenger out there for Floyd

Floyd of course did his usual chicken swerve....

But the question was what HOF did Floyd fight when close to prime. Cotto was nowhere near prime when Floyd finally found the bolls

Hatton doesnt count. Beast at 140 but did NOTHING at 147

You can only fight boxers in your era, and in FM's era he's fought: Pacquiao, Maidana, Alvarez, Cotto, Juan Manuel Marquez, Hatton, Judah, Gatti, Castillo x 2, Corrales. What else could he have done?

*And if anyone mentions Khan I may not stop laughing for a week, and I've got things I really need to do in the next seven days.

x2 Good post sums it all up. Castillo once he hit his peak was severely underrated.

Cotto was a beast when prime, I can't deny that. He wasn't as good as a Buddy McGirt (who isn't a HOF), nor an Ike Quartey (who isn't HOF either) though.

Cotto's best wins are Margarito rematch, Judah and a past prime Mosley. I just don't get it. His winning streak at 140lbs was against B- level fighters.

Cotto should have demolished the tiny Manny Pacquiao. Pacquiao in no reality was ever meant to beat Cotto.

Yeah, that's deffo the correct question to ask. All there is, is Jose Luis Castillo and to be fair, I can't bet my life on him making HOF, he's not a 'definite' HOF, he's borderline.

Don't think anyone is saying Mayweather is the greatest of his era of course a few were better. Just had exceptional management and good longevity still have to respect that.

I'm going to say Castillo. JLC was without a doubt the best win of Floyd's career.

In fact I don't think any other win comes close.

If you don't think it's a fact cotto will be a first ballot hof'er you have create a ew alt because this one has zero credibilty, your views mean nothing as of that post.

Floyd was too great for his own good. Because he never had to regroup and come back off a loss will keep children like you spewing nonsense which other underage new fans will grow up hearing.

When you truly don't have the slightest of ideas you're trying to talk about, it makes you sound like such a moron or for better words towards you, a hater. Nothing more but possibly something less.

I was on youtube last night, lots of poster's on here rival those clueless youtube haters. You meathead have nothing better to do than devote your time to bashing on most of the very best fighters of the last couple decades.

Beyond repair, most of you are

Facts: Castillo, 154 Cotto and Maidana are the only fighters that truly challenged Floyd. Also Mosley is an underrated win of Floyd.

Yeah, everybody would've liked to see Floyd fighting 147 prime Pac, Cotto and Margarito but it is what it is.

You attacked the credibility of the poster without even challenging his thesis.

    It's you who looks foolish.
