I'd take Tucker actually. Very tall, disciplined, a rock chin, decent power and excellent movement/handspeed. Bowe didn't look all that stellar when his opponent wouldn't agree to a street fight.
Great matchup. Tyson called Tucker's jab the best he faced, thats over Biggs, Pinky, Bruno, etc. I think this would be a fight where Bowe gets outboxed, but turns up the heat for a unanimous or split decision win. Bowe 115-113.

I'll take bowe. Tucker for all his fine attributes on paper simply wasn't an aggressor.. He spent most of his career beating trial horses and in the rare instances which he fought at the world level did so to survive.. Not win.. I don't know how anyone can pick the bowe who went on a search and destroy mission in the first Holyfield fight to lose.
The old styles make fights argument. Good tall Boxers with good jabs would be big problems for Bowe. And Tucker also had a good chin. Think he's underrated and Bowe's overrated. Great matchup due.
I don't think think Tucker was that great of a boxer though. He looked ordinary in a lot of the fights I've seen of him on film. He was outboxed by douglas before James broke down and quit in the late rounds.. He lost basically every round against Lewis and I'm not sure he deserved his decisions against Norris or McCall, though admittedly he was well past it for those fights but still. He might get a decision against bowe but he's going to have to be pretty active, stay busy and even take some chances to do it and this wasn't typically his MO
Tucker will make it close, but Bowe did better against better comp, and he would beat Tony on a close ud. If Tony career had gone like it should have, he wins easily.
he is number 2. look lewis destroyed his shw opponents because he could turn the boxing match into a fight, and noone was better than bowe in that. the way he dismantled gonzales - i never saw a big man doing so well against a bigger man inside, and also showed a rocket left hand
So what? I'm not even sure what you mean here. Lewis destroyed a far longer list of better big men than Bowe did ( including one who battered Bowe from pillar to post. ) And Gonzalez wasn't even world class.
