and what world class shw lewis did destroey except golota, who is a mental midget and not really shw (6'4).

what i mean is this - lewis did destroyed some big fighters, but he didn't do it the way bowe destroyed gonzales!! gonzales is not important, the way bowe destroyed him is important.

please check again bowe vs gonzales and you will see it.

he smashed gonzales all over the ring with his jab, applied pressure behind the jab, he countered him to the head and to the body, worked inside, throw combos in and out, good defense - slipping and parrying etc...NEVER saw lewis do all that things, bowe was simply a more complete fighter, especially inside which is the most IMPORTANT thing agains superheavyweights!

I don't care how he did it... Lewis dismantled:

    - Andrew Golata
    - Vitali Klitschko
    - Michael Grant
    - Shannon Briggs
    - Tony Tucker
    - Frank Bruno

    Bowe beat:

    Jorge Gonzalez..........

First list + second list = Lewis as the better super heavyweight slayer.
    Simple math..

he didn't dismantle all of the above, in fact he struggled with few of them.
anyway, bowe did it way better, regardless of opponent. that is very obvious

Only obvious thing here is your obvious inability to see the obvious.

never saw lewis parrying the jab, using head movement, going to the body, using combos inside, countering... the way BOWE did!

Inside fighting wasn't his game... Though he did tear up Vitali Klitschko with huge upper cuts up close. Bowe managed to nearly get outboxed by an old Tubbs.

old tubbs was 10x boxer than bruno ever was.. :nut

those uppercuts in vitali fight were wide, telegraphed and amateurish compared to those bowe smashed holyfield with

None of this has anything to do with either man's track record against super heavys.. Lennox Lewis is at least 6-0 against super heavys. Bowe fought two super heavys. He beat one of them who was mediocre and got thrashed by the other one, who incidentally Lewis mopped the floor with.. Only a troll would try to argue otherwise

Bowe did look excellent against Gonzalez, but let's be honest...Gonzalez was ****. An exceptional amateur, but his pro career was a disaster.

That really is the crux of the whole issue.. That and Gonzalez was the ONLY super heavyweight Bowe ever beat. To say that he was superior to Lennox Lewis in dispatching super heavyweights has no proven basis.

it has proven basis, cause bowe displayed way better skills in destroying that one shw than lewis in his sloppy destroying of bunch of big guys who can't fight for lick

Buster Douglas was putting a pasting on Tucker before he gassed out.

He lost to Ferguson as well due to being poorly conditioned.

Bowe doesn't tire and he never stops trying to win. Tucker is getting out boxed here. Maybe late stoppage loss.

    Bowe by close decision

If they'd fought when Bowe was champ, it would have turned out similar to Lewis/Tucker.
