Holyfield, when he showed signs of a pulse in their rematch at 37 years old counter-punched Lewis beautifully and really had Lennox very inaccurate by emplying some angles and foot movement. The much more active and quicker Evander of 1991 who doubled and tripled the jab would knock out Lewis.

Look at Evander in his prime 1987-through the Bowe rematch. He was already in his 30s in a body that had been through a lot of wars when he had his up and down dips in the Moorer and Bowe rubber matches, nevermind the fighter who could only fight 30 seconds a round vs Bean, Lewis, Ruiz etc.

The Evander who won the title had a great work-rate and would knock out a gassed Lewis by the 10th.

 

The Lewis who showed up in the first fight would have likely decisioned any version of Holyfield. There's a whole thread dine on this very topic recently.

That Lennox Lewis won 11 rounds against that Holyfield, I know they called it a draw, but he out boxed him the whole time apart from the third round.

Consider yourself corrected, because in the first fight Lewis EASILY beat the version of Holyfield that was in front of him. Why you keep disputing this is beyond me.

Um no, as far the history books go, Lewis did not beat Holyfield that night. Saying it any other way is wrong.

 

Well he didn't beat him, but he did appear to jab him to death and out class him for the majority of the fight.
