    Wrong immediately.
    Marciano was badly cut against
    Johnny Shkor
    Keene Simmons
Ezzard Charles in both fights that's 4 fights.
Why don't you do some research before making these innacurate statements?

I dont gave to reseach I watched the fights there is to watch enough times to know that they were not bad cuts. And they did not seem to bother him much the only time I saw marciano much bothered by anything is in Walcott 1. Thats the fight where a foreign substance got into eyes.

If you believe they were not bad cuts then you are very wrong
Marciano was in danger of being stopped against Simmons in fact the doctor was called to the ring apron and Marciano pleaded to be allowed to continue. The referee later said he would have been justified in stopping the fight but wanted to give Marciano every chance.

The same with the second Charles fight & Simmons fight.
YES that piece of **** by Libby is inaccurate.
Not only inaccurate but downright dishonest.

By the way ,you haven't watched either the Shkor or the Simmons fights.

In short you don't know what the f*ck you are talking about
Let's see, where are you now?
    Marciano fractured Vingo's skull WRONG
    Marciano fractured Wilson's skull WRONG
    Marciano broke Lastarza's arms WRONG
Marciano sheered Layne's teeth off WRONG
Marciano sheered an unknown fighters teeth off WRONG Marciano was only badly cut in one fight WRONG
That's six out of six statements you made that are WRONG.
    Want to go for seven?

Curious that both LaStarza and Ali felt the same type of power in the ring vs Marciano. Ali...."Just playing in the ring with Marciano and I could barely lift my arms".

Rocky was one terrific puncher. Rocky was the only fighter Ali felt could have beaten him. He also stated Marciano was a better fighter than Frazier "and you know the tough fights Frazier gave me".

I don't know how to break this to you , but the computer fight was NOT REAL, both men pulled their punches:patsch

I'll reiterate, Marciano did not break Lastarza's arms.

    Never said he did.

The point is BOTH men felt the power of Rockys punches in similar fashion.

No they didn't , one Lastarza was in a real fight with Marciano in which no punches were pulled .
The other Ali ,was a in a choreographed exhibition in which both pulled their punches to order.

    Again a quote from Ali....

"In the ring just playing and I could barely lift my arms"

Both Ali and LaStarza felt the same effects.

Ali said lots of things about fighters and about the old champs in particular he was usually kind.
I don't believe for one second that he seriously thought Marciano would beat him and I seriously doubt he ever said so.
    Again, believe what you wish.

You seem to want to argue against something that is basically common knowledge and has been since the 60's?? Everyone knows Henry Cooper was absolutely a bleeder?? Talk about revisionist history - couldn't be ****d to find sources for something that even Cooper admittedly pretty frankly himself - the fact that as you yourself have confirmed that was actually stopped 4 cuts kinda clears that up aswell? You insinuate that I've for it wrong that Cooper who got stopped 4 times on cuts but Marciano who never got stopped on a cut was more of a bleeder?? Beggars belief really  I know Cooper was cut again Clay and Ali, and against Brian London a couple of times too, and against Joe Bugner, and against Mildenberger, and against Patterson, and against Johnny Prescott, and against someone called Peter Bates who stopped him on the cut, and against Zora Folley, and against Jose Urtain, and against Billy Walker and that leaves at least one other but I dare bet there were a few in his earlier career but that say 13 right there and these weren't little nic's these were horrible nasty messy cuts and a few there against pretty substandard competition aswell - that's a bleeder right there I why you are arguing this??

McVey get a grip man the worst cut we have on film of Marciano outside of the freaky split nose is the cut eye against Charles the first time and yeah it's a pretty bad cut but it certainly wasn't a fight ended?? Not even in this day and age - Vit klits cuts again Lennox were far worse for example and Rocks eye was no worse than Holys against Holmes for instance and I don't think there was really any danger of that one being stopped?? It wasn't that bad - Ricky Hatton I remembered having a MUCH worse cut in one of his fights which didn't get the fight stopped? Tyson split eye against Holy in the bite fight I'd say was worse that thing was horrible and gaping real wide it was hideous Marciano's was a good one but not that bad and it didn't bother him one little bit that was his best fight in my opinion?

I think he just meant that he wasn't completely untouchable is George Chuvalo roughed him up a bit and Cooper did too especially in the rematch I had Cooper up on points at the time that fight got stopped etc but yeah Ali obviously was pretty damn difficult to pin down properly

For the record you haven't seen the Shkor or Simmons fights either so is there the chance that maybe reading too much into it?? I mean you think Marciano's cut eye in the first Charles fight was worthy of stopping the fight when it clearly wasn't??
