I think Frazier won rounds 2 and 4 clearly.

I dont think Foreman was cautious, he was loading up and throwing in bunches, Frazier was just making him miss. Frazier even took some flush Foreman shots, he just kept moving and avoided follow ups.

Foreman eye was closing and he was running out of gas when flabby Frazier stopped moving in the 5th.

A prime Frazier moving like this, could beat Foreman.

Frazier don't move like that. Not his style and never would be. Eventually he is getting koed.

IFrazier has already proved he could take George to deep waters. Foreman was surely tired in round five.

Everytime, you meet an opinion that doesn't agree with yours, you always use rude and vulgar terms.

It's honestly idiotic. You need a new sport to follow.

No wonder you're not taken seriously here.:lol:

I used to be exactly like you. I'd harshly insult anybody with a different opinion than mine, raise havoc, verbally attack several innocent posters. You want to know what happened? I GREW UP And I suggest you do the same. :hi:

Well if you have to build Frazier up for making it to round five against Foreman then you're just damning him with feint praise. So he did slightly better than last time. So what? He wasn't winning, or even close. It was a one-sided beating that ended with him being KO'd in the fifth. Yet you've somehow turned it into a blueprint for victory for Frazier.

Evidence for Foreman tiring against Frazier?

Frazier won the one that mattered most when both were nearest to their prime. And, according to you, Frazier was completely shot for both of Ali's wins anyway.

Foreman was in better shape than he had been in years. He really trained hard for Frazier 2. This Foreman would have gotten Lyle out in 1 or 2.

"Slightly better" He did more than four times better and even won a round. It wasn't really a one sided beating. I've turned it into a blueprint, because he did have some success in that fight.
    For which fight?
WRONG! Ali was nearest to his prime in 1972. He'd shaken off the ring rust by then. Frazier wasn't completely shot against Ali. I never said that. Please don't put words in my mouth. Past prime? Yes. Completely shot? Hardly. He just couldn't turn his game up for anyone but Ali.

It was because he was still scared of Frazier.

Exactly. The argument "Foreman wasn't the same monster he had been in 1973" is wrong. That would mean Foreman declined more from 1973 to 1976 than Frazier.

Completely disagree .. the Foreman of this fight was terrific. It was far and away his best post Ali bout .. Frazier made the difference but simply did not have enough to make it a better fight despite lasting longer .. Foreman showed great control by not going nuts and punching himself out but instead fighting a controlled fight .. if a prime Frazier could have done more , I simply do not know ..
