You're confused, (yet again). Boxing reports aren't experts, if anyone is considered an expert how about the judges, who get paid to score fights?

Do you know what the scorecards were prior to the stoppage?

Prime Frazier could judge distance a whole lot better. For 15 rounds Frazier timed Ali with a long range left hook. This was a moving target too. Where was this long range punch and pinpoint accuracy by the time Joe fought Foreman?

Frazier walked all the way up to Foreman and would not punch until he was already up close. All Foreman had to do was push Frazier to the point where Joe no longer would punch from and pot shot him as he walked back toward him.

Frazier had lost a crucial dimension to his game. He was half the man.

So then I guess the judges got the first Holyfield - Lewis fight correct? :D

What sort of tom foolery is going on here? No, "prime" frazier would not beat Foreman. That is just ludicrous. When somebody gets blown out both times they fight, it's hilarious to then see, oh yeah he really would've won if he was prime. That makes no logical sense.

Why would you give rounds 2 and 4 to Foreman? Foreman was throwing more but Joe was landing more clean punches. Round 3 was a clear Foreman round, Round 1 I can see. But 2 and 4? Why? Just because?

On camera they weren't quiet. Coswell "THE CROWD IS ALIVE, ALIVE FOR THIS FIGHT!" after Frazier appeared to win round 2.

Morrison lost every round and was down multiple times before the knockout.

I watched it yesterday and thought Foreman won it clearly, but I'll watch it again, before commenting.

Of course it was competitive, Foreman ate several flush counters to the face, and was having trouble finding the mark with his own punches.

If Foreman was really landing combos, Frazier wouldn't have been standing. The video quality is crisp, Foreman clearly missing with most of what he throws or hitting Frazier's arms and gloves.

Frazier in these rounds was landing the cleaner more effective shots. Why do you think Foreman's eye started to close and Frazier was unmarked?

And Foreman landed one good punch in Round 4.

The problem with some people is if neither fighter is landing they default to the busier man. instead of calling it for it what it is.

How many good fighters among that lot ?
Lyle and Norton, and that's it, I reckon. I'd say Lyle did BETTER than Frazier anyway.
