Canelo has fought the better fighters. I reckon he would of beat all of gggs opponents just as easily as GGG.

Canelo has a chance because he's got good boxing skills and a chin, he could win a UD but it would be in a somewhat brutal affair.

As much as I normally enjoy what you post OP, I think you cant see the forest for the trees this time man.

Trout, Lara, Mayweather and Cotto all tried to box and not give Canelo anything to counter, which is why Canelo has issues with them. It wasnt that Canelo has issues with the jab like you tried to paint, but instead he has issues with someone who wont FIGHT him. GGG will FIGHT him.

I think you are also overblowing GGG's own Jab. It looked really good and really stiff against the frenchmen, quick and powerful. That was against someone who is a come forward brawler with no boxing skills to speak of. GGG's jab wont look near a good against Canelo.

I think you are also not correctly evaluating Canelo's power. It is not a snappy turn your lights out punch like other fighters, it is much more of a thudding sledgehammer. Id also like to point out just recently Canelo switched to using fighters gloves, he had been using Grant forever... so that may play a factor into his style of throwing hard... having to get more weight behind the Grant gloves to cause damage.


Again, I like things you posts, just styles make fights.
