I stand corrected. You said Frazier was a big favorite.

So about that uppercut that missed by a god damn mile....

And is anything there about Frazier not accurate, even mcvey agreed it was true, and we have no love loss.

Btw you said Frazier won one of those rounds, which round did he win, and did he officially win it or is it just based on your opinion?

    His own fault of course.

Could have been worse, at least it took Foreman to upset Frazier and not a Buster Douglas.

You've got nerve. You're the one who said laid out a blow by blow account of the round and had Foreman never landing a jab and he only landing two punches in the round, so if you want to get into an accuracy debate, be my guest, but you're not winning it.

A little longer? :rofl That was more than TWICE as long. It did look like Frazier had a chance in round four. (which he won)

1974 WAS his best comeback year.
Again, this is known boxing history. The Thrilla was the most brutal fight in boxing history and clearly had an effect on both men. If you believe 1975 Frazier and 1976 Frazier were remotely the same. I simply don't know where to begin.
I never said he'd beat him in 1973. I said he'd trouble him.

He could raise his level for Ali, because of his hatred for him, notice how he's in better shape against Ali than Foreman.

That's exactly what I'm saying. The way you worded it, clearly supported my opinion.

You're talking about one punch, which I haven't reviewed but you're pretty sure I missed, the bigger picture is that no only do you have Foreman landing zero jabs in that round, and two landed punches you also have the wrong guy winning the round.

What's Mcvey's take on who won that round and on what basis are you using to say he agreed with you about a missed punch?

    Not even true.

When I compared our observations we agreed on 8 or 9 landed Foreman punches.

Not true at all. Again we agreed on 8 or 9 landed Foreman punches. I had Foreman landing 5 or 6 jabs total.

What? I was talking about Frazier being in poor form during his title reign which is what my you rudely replied to and implied to be an out there any opinion.

Post #123 you laid out a sec by sec account of the second round, that's what I'm talking about.

I know when you reviewed mine observations we were much closer to what unfolded and we were largely in agreement, but that's not what you originally posted.

Admittedly the second part of this post regarding Frazier's conditioning, I probably should have not injected myself into, so fair game on this particular issue.

That second post only covered the second half of the round.

Even than 8:47 starts with me scoring a jab to Foreman...so what are you talking about?

It was what I originally posted. I only retracted on a right hand that was hard to call either way.

    Okay so count.

How many jabs do you have Foreman throwing and landing, and how many power shots?

6 touching jabs, 1 clean on camera power shot. 1 or 2 maybe partially blocked.

I'm not counting all the throws, but he missed a lot.

"touching jabs" are these the same as jabs landed??
