How is that a fact? He fought Quigg when he was washed up, and sparred Frampton, while washed up. Quigg is getting KO'd.
You are putting FAR too much emphasis on one mans opinion. No disrespect to Jason Booth but time and again 'sparring stories' have been proven to be well off the mark. Jason is wrong here and you are foolish to blindly follow him.
That one round (almost one punch actually) is another thing you are putting FAR too much emphasis on. Anyone looking at the big picture can see that Frampton is a lot better than Quigg.
Boxing ability yes and boxing brain by far, but they are going to trade alot in this fight and I believe by the eight round it will start to take a big toll on Frampton and he gets taken out.
Lighten up! I don't understand why folks have to get so heated about this. It's a genuinely competitive match-up between 2 cracking, but different, fighters. Quigg is local to me so that's who I'm rooting for, but I see no reason to start badmouthing Mr Frampton. I think Carl's more skilful than Scott but he also seems smaller and not as strong. Is Carl so much better that he can overcome the size difference? I dunno, but think of the fun we'll all have as we find out. I have no idea how any sensible person can be 100% sure either way. Good luck to both guys. I hope they both turn up 100% fit & ready and that they turn in their best performances to give us fans a fight to remember. May the best man win. If you're so adamant about this that you're throwing insults about, go have a beer, chill out and stop taking yourself so seriously.
But Framptons not Irish, he's British, in fact he's more British than most. The fact that he's turned his coat inside out to sell a few tickets doesn't change facts.
I think its a close match up with both being very good and quigg has improved a lot and i cant pick em. Just hope its a good competitive fight with both being and giving 100% and no british stoppage or excuses after. Looking forward to it
We've never seen Quigg really hit by anyone with the skill and power of Frampton and if I'm being honest, he looked pretty uncomfortable in the first round vs Martinez. I know he stopped him in the 2nd round but it wasn't like it was some kind of brutal one shot KO, people over hyping his power, though he clearly hit's hard enough. I've watched both a lot, Frampton is clearly the better boxer and I expect him to win. Let' see how Quigg deals with someone as accurate and as good as Frampton, because we haven't seen him yet over the course of the fight when he's actually taking shots. His opponents previous to Martinez were either all pretty poor in comparison or much smaller than him. So for me he is much more untested when I compare his list of opponent's to Framptons.
I really want Quigg to win but looking at styles am going Frampton via k.o. Just think everyone is getting carried away with Quigg last win, he did get caught a lot in that fight also and I think Frampton is a lot quicker, feet and hands than Kiko.
